i'm leaving on my alaskan cruise tomorrow! i am so excited to do something totally different, go someplace i've never been before! i am really really really excited!
today is also my last day as a full time employee at the temple. when i get back from my cruise uvu starts and i am moving to provo. i really really really want to go to graduate school so i am going to spend the next few months preparing for that. anybody have any suggestions on where i should go or what i should study? i'm considering ANYTHING. my strategy now is to apply everywhere and then go from there. i am leaning towards anything that would qualify me to work in higher education, whether teaching or administration. a couple weeks ago i applied for a job at the church office building as a floral designer and it made me realize how much i miss doing flowers by how much i wanted that job. i still just haven't heard anything so it is still a possibility but every day that passes that i am not called in for an interview makes it less of a possibility. but i've decided i would love to find any job now working as a florist part time.
i am just so excited to go on my cruise! just one more day and then i'm going to alaska! and canada!

Are you talking at a that you want to work college/university level when you say higher education? If so, you are most likely looking at a PhD. My husband was only going to get a Masters, but they are cracking down and unless you have a lot of experience in your field you can only get adjunct with Masters generally speaking. Also, as far as school's go, the Lord has sent us where he wanted us to be and guided us into the English field. He will do the same for you. You should do what you love and what makes you happy in the mean time.
