it is daddy's birthday today. he wanted clothes and that's what he got. we are all accepting the challenge of writing 57 reasons why we love daddy, hahahaha. i took it very seriously.

1. well, he's my dad so of course no matter what i love him unconditionally

2. he has a million church books and can tell you exactly what is in every single one of them

3. he makes me feel protected, probably because he is so big

4. he joined the church, thus blessing us forever

5. he's tall

6. he also has a million computer books and can tell you exactly what's in every single one of those ones too

7. he likes to save money (which is also annoying sometimes)]

8. he works really hard

9. he likes to study

10. he loves i love lucy!

11. he encourages me to practice spanish even though i don't speak in front of him

12. he makes me feel special when it comes to telling people about my less than glamorous job

13. he really wants me to get married

14. you can tell he really does love us

15. he really loves the gospel

16. he is a fabulous priesthood leader

17. he served a mission!

18. he really supported me on my mission

19. it was a nice ending to my mission that he came to pick me up, i love that memory

20. he wrote me the shortest emails every week on my mission but they were always perfect

21. he would come up with questions for me to use in my district meetings on my mission for our quiz

22. he was a great bishop

23. he gave me my first temple recommend, that was special

24. all of the great spiritual experiences of my life were because of daddy

25. he was on the temple committee for the san antonio temple

26. we got to meet so many general authorities because of daddy and his callings

27. he definitely knows how to take care of his family

28. he is letting mom get another bathroom in the house

29. he let mom get a kitty

30. he also really really loves the kitty

31. i love it when he laughs when he thinks we are funny girls

32. he has a very random sense of humor

33. he definitely taught us well

34. he supported me at byu-idaho

35. he bought me a car to use there that i still use

36. he took me to a spurs game once that was awesome

37. he helped me with my resume this week

38. he applied to uvu for me

39. he brought us to utah every summer so we have those memories

40. he woke me up for seminary every day high school

41. he really loves mom

42. he doesn't notice our flaws at all

43. he is proud of me even when there's really nothing to be proud of

44. he is so texan and yet so utahn too

45. he was in the longhorn band thus inspiring us to do band and i'm grateful for that

46. i love to hear him talk about his mission

47. i also love to hear about his conversion story

48. he is a great public speaker

49. his students at byu think he is a legend

50. he is already one of the most popular professors there

51. he thinks extremely boring things are interesting

52. he can sometimes make extremely boring things fun, like studying law books

53. he loves college campuses

54. he loves having all daughters

55. he always has good advice for us no matter what the situation

56. he is the perfect example for other father's on how to be an exemplary father, look at how well all his daughters turned out

57. he is always continuing to progress and become better, i love that about him

there it is. i really love daddy so much, i mean truly, my life wouldn't be the way it is without him and i have been so blessed.
