monday larysa, sara, and i went to see the movie up. it was cute but at first i felt a little disappointed in it. i just didn't think it was quite as good as the other pixar movies. the incredibles is one of my top ten favorite movies and i love toy story, bug's life, monsters inc, nemo and cars all so much. when it was over i felt like it was just a cute movie. but the more i talk about it and think about it the more i realize i actually really liked it. my problem with it is that i found it too hard to believe in, it was a little bit too much. with the other pixar movies i named, the reason i loved them is because they took something out of this world and made it completely believable. i could easily believe in toys talking, superheros really existing, bugs and monsters and fish all living in their own society's. i actually realized that this is what i thought about cars at first, i was a little disappointed because i found it too hard to believe but now i love cars. and i think it will be like that with up, i want to go see it again and there were parts of it i really liked. what i liked the most was actually the short movie they did before like they do with all pixar movies. on every other pixar movie i did not like any of the short movies. i thought they were weird or slightly negative or just plain boring. this one was really cute and i really liked it a lot. i thought that it had a great message, that when it comes to difficulties in life we need to look for a way to get through it rather than run away from it. i really liked it. so overall i say go see up.
